With over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, my career bridges investigative rigor, institutional leadership, and strategic thinking focused on executive decision-making.

I served as a Federal Police Commissioner in Brazil for 17 years, leading complex investigations in corruption, financial crimes, public funds misappropriation, electoral and environmental offenses, and internal misconduct. This background shaped a technical and ethical perspective — one that values context as much as compliance.

After retiring from public service, I shifted to the corporate world. I specialized in Compliance (Ibmec, 2020) and joined the forensics team of a Big Four firm, investigating corporate fraud and adapting public-sector methodologies to internal private-sector investigations. Since then, I’ve focused on strategic consulting in governance, risk, corporate investigations, and organizational culture.

I founded Carvalhêda Advisory to support companies, boards, and leadership teams through critical decisions. My work includes designing and strengthening governance structures, serving on advisory boards and committees, auditing compliance programs, and conducting high-sensitivity internal investigations — always with clear, ethical, and context-driven solutions.
